Referral Based Traffic - Getting the Referral Process Going
LinkReferral provides two great ways to get traffic to your site, ranking high in our member's site directory, and our multi-level marketing referral program, which is a hands off method to see increased traffic month after month. With that said, most people, given the choice, would like to see an overload of traffic to their site NOW.
To do this, instead of just passively waiting for traffic to build through the linkreferral link placed on your site, here are a few proactive ways to get the ball rolling more quickly.

1. Promotion on Your Site - Besides just placing the LinkReferral link on your site, a little promotion and explanation of what LinkReferral is may encourage more people to click through to see what it's all about.
2. Promotion on Other Sites (blogs, other traffic sites, etc...) - List your linkreferral link,
on other free advertising type sites where a large percentage of the people are looking for new avenues such as Linkreferral.com for free advertising. This will allow you to create a large first level referral base, and expose these people and all their referrals to your website once they hit the linkreferral.com homepage.
3. E-Mail - You may have noticed the form letter during the sign up process allowing you to send ten people an endorsement of the site. It provides them a link with your ID number attached so their membership would be under you should they choose to join. A personal e-mail from you to your associates describing how the program works and your belief in it, will see even better results. Use good judgement. DO NOT SPAM (sending mass e-mails to people you have not had prior contact with). It generally doesn't work and will be in vain as we will shut down your account...
4. E-Mail Signature - A passive way to take advantage of your email is to set an email signature, where you set an appropriate one line message and linkreferral link
at the bottom of all your email messages. Check with your email documentation (MS outlook, eudora, hotmail, etc..) on how to set an email signature.

Any method you use to get your first 10 people to join is 90% of the battle. The faster this happens the faster they get people on board for themselves and thus helping you promote your site. Good Luck!!
